Our journey started in February 2024. We met online in a bizarre way while we were in two different cities. We spoke casually about our interests, values and preferences. We aligned immediately. During a conversation about one of our favorite artist, Fela Kuti, Rueben asked for a date the following day. The next day, we met and the sparks began to fly. We went on 3 dates within the first 10 days of meeting one another.

Over the coming months, we traveled and spent lots of time together connecting over our shared interests, leaning into spirituality. We were intentional about getting to know each other on a deeper level. We explored one another on multiple levels, it all led to a peaceful, graceful and enjoyable relationship.

After dating for about 9 months, we explored the possibility of marriage by participating in couple's counseling. From there, pre-marital counseling was a natural and enjoyable progression. On July 19, 2025, Reuben proposed and the magic continues.

We are happily enjoying this love journey and we look forward to the next level of our Forever Story.
